　　Introduction

　　This report aims to explain why our department needs extra staff.

　　Findings

　　The current situation is that our sales dropped from 200,000 units to 150, 000 units in the past 3 years. To improve the situation, the company is exploring potential markets in Africa and Latin America. The annual holiday is lengthened and we frequently hear complaints about our after-sales service.

　　Conclusion

　　More staff is needed in the marketing department due to the rising demand from the marketing campaign, the increased holiday days and the efforts to improve the after-sales service. Only by recruiting more staff can the department successfully carry out the tasks of boosting the sales and opening the new markets. Also sufficient staff is needed to handle customer complaints so as to improve the after-sales service.
