The role of infrastructure is not just the way to move people from point A to point B, it's not just the way to convey water or sewage or energy, but it's the foundation for our economy. It's the foundation for our social life and for our culture, and it really matters to the way that we live.

基础设施的角色不仅仅是把人们从A点运到B点，不是仅仅运输水，污水，或者能源，而是我们经济的基础。它是我们社交生活和文化的基础，并且对我们的生活方式有很大影响。（观点）

798 art zone and the surrounded art industry area are good illustrations of the adaptation of an obsolete loop of old railroad circling an old factory as a new infrastructure for urban revitalization.

798艺术区以及周边的艺术产业区域是把围绕着一个就工厂的废弃铁路线改造成城市复兴基础设施的一个好例子。（举例）

These changes were the foundations for urban sprawl. Developers saw the opportunity to take advantage of new growth in the city; and a large number of artists saw their dream and mission accomplished by the shared vision.

这些改变是城市扩张的基础。开发商看到了利用城市新增长的机会；大量艺术家看到了他们的梦想和使命在共同愿景下被实现的可能。（解释）

The cultural momentum is not only changing the physical form of the city, it's changing the way we think about the city, and what our expectations are for living there.

这种文化动力不仅正在改变城市的外观，也在改变我们对城市的想法，以及我们想要生活在这里的期待。（进一步解释）
